About ME

I'm Jessica Cash, it is so nice to meet you! Creativity has been intertwined in my earliest memories. Growing up on a farm with my three sisters, my world was filled with endless fields of sunshine, Indian paintbrushes, and the rhythm of farm life.

Logan Cash ( my love ) and I share the joy of raising our son, Hezekiah Keith Cash. I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as I am sure you have seen come out sharing itself through my work.

Dropping Ink onto glass marked a significant shift for me—from a mere hobby to a true lifestyle. The way color can lay so delicately on a glossy transparent surface was mesmerizing, and I just couldn’t stop— I was hooked.

About my Art

My practice revolves around the interplay of transparency and texture, creating striking visual experiences through a unique combination of glass, watercolor, acrylic (pigment-based) ink, drawing (dye-based) ink, and layered glass construction. I work primarily through reverse-glass painting using the historic technique of Verre églomisé, drawing and painting on the back of thicker, custom-cut glass panes that are viewed from the front. By layering multiple panes of glass and various inks, I engage in a delicate interplay of color, light, and form, resulting in luminous surfaces with depth and a glossy finish that preserves the vibrancy of the materials. Fully custom framing supports both the physical structure and conceptual intent of the work. Many pieces are designed to be interactive, encouraging viewers to move around the work, look behind it, or experience it from shifting perspectives, emphasizing art as an experience shaped by light, space, and engagement.
